Valeria Kardos
As a child in Budapest, Hungary, Valeria was a gifted artist. At the age of seven she received numerous awards from the UNICEF.

In New York, she earned an apparel design degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Late, her deep interest and love in the fashions, textiles, mosaics and the opulent architecture of the Byzantine Empire urged her to go further in her studies and she received a MA in Art History.

Before opening Knitting 321, Valeria had an extensive, successful career on 7^th Ave. Her garments were widely featured in Women’s Wear Daily, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and The New York Times. She traveled extensively to Europe and Asia to identify new trends and attend major fashion shows.

Her exceptional sense of color, understanding of couture design, exquisite taste and knowledge of fit makes Knitting 321 unique.
